Welcome to MSc. Joseph Heng

Joseph will study the causal neuro-compuational mechanisms underlying memory biases

Joseph Heng carried out his bachelor’s and master’s studies in Life Sciences and Technology at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). During these studies he pursued his interest for the brain in particular with a minor in computational neurosciences. He carried out his master’s thesis at the Swartz Center for Computational Neuroscience in San Diego where he developed a new computational method to measure phase-amplitude coupling in EEG signals. He is now interested in investigating causal models that explain aspects of human cognition.
